Yeah he had two crap defensive efforts that I remember, and then several good ones. He's not flawless, but he isn't trash either.

Pipkin is leading the team in assists. The way Mills coaches and encouraging driving to the basket, assists seem to not be a priority in his offense. I guess that's why Pipkin isn't getting to see the court. He helps his teammates instead of getting out of their way for them to drive into 3 players clogging the lane.

Ballard is a defensive juggernaut when he can get in position to block a shot. If he has to adjust and move from one side of the lane to the other, he doesn't react quickly enough to cover the second player.
