We are going to get destroyed. Their second year coach is far better than ours. Their team plays much more disciplined than ours. Their team actually cares about playing defense. They're also a respectable shooting team whereas we are not.

To sum up:

Better coached
Better shooters
Better defenders
Better team

I'll be interested as to what the spread is. Honestly, I kind of hope they win. I've never had any issues with North Texas and they're definitely a team that can get into the tournament and I'd honestly like to see that. **** Memphis, but I respect North Texas.

North Texas is probably my second favorite AAC team. They defend well and play hard - much like WSU of old. They have an outside shot at getting an at-large if they can manage to essentially win out (the AAC really sucks this year).

Ross Hodge is also a better coach and recruiter than Paul Mills - all while making a few hundred thousand dollars less per season.

Knowing a little about North Texas I feel like we have a much better shot at upsetting a team like Memphis who plays out of control with no discipline. A well coached team with talent should own us at this point.

I'm wondering about those big changes - drastic changes

Pipkin and Joy have had some bad moments on the court, but it's hard to get into a game once a month (maybe) for 4 minutes and get into the flow of the game in any way.

If Mills loses Pipkin to the portal, he probably loses the recruit from Cooz's team and the Houston connection with Cooz.

Thinking about which veteran guards should start/sit it just weighs on me how bad they've all been. Ballard and Washington have been solid all season long. Our backcourt is putrid. I'd like to think Hill would be much better with some shooters running an organized scheme. But we'll never know.

How depressing is it that we are 35% to win at home versus North Texas. And we all know that number is way too high. Sad, sad, sad. I would never have believed the program could sink this far so quickly.
