N. Texas is coming to town and they are far better than Tulsa. Same Shocker issues today were the same problems with the same end results. 6 more made 3s by Tulsa than us. This is Not unusual.

That mitigation clause in Mills' contract isn't going to be worth much. The $13 an hour he can get flipping burgers at Mickey D's isn't going to take much off of what we owe him.
Maybe he can get a job as a motivational speaker? The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

2-3 conference wins is very realistic for this year

You were warned a month ago, with no depth in the paint (MB is low Valley level at best), this team would struggle mightily in league play.
The boner with UMKC was just a preview of what was ahead.
League play is a grind and this team just doesn't have the bodies or talent to endure week after week of dog fight games every night.
It hurts to witness this program sink to the bottom of the standings. But get used to it, cuz nothing is going to change in the next 4 weeks.
They will be one and done in DFW too.
That is all.Above all, make the right call.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/basketball/shockers-can-t-defend-3-point-line-drop-to-last-place-in-aac-after-tulsa-loss/ar-AA1xUbp1#:~:text=The%20Wichita%20State%20men’s%20b asketball%20team%20once%20again,the%20American%20A thletic%20Conference%20standings%20as%20a%20result.
It’s been an all too familiar feeling for the Shockers, whether they’ve played teams with elite or poor outside shooting. On Sunday, WSU faced one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the country with Tulsa entering ranked No. 326 in 3-point percentage at 29.9%.
But that hasn’t mattered much this season, as Tulsa found its 3-point shooting touch against the Shockers with a season-best (against Division I competition) 13 3-pointers on 61.9% accuracy.
Their backup center made 5, that’s FIVE, 3 pointers. Their BACKUP CENTER! He had made 3 all year.Last edited by Dan; 1 day ago.
