      WSU 73

      S. Florida 68

Nobody that I am aware believed that the Bulls would win the AAC last Season, but they did. They lost their top 3 scorers, but reloaded.

This game will shed light on if the Shocks are going to really be a top 5 AAC team as many predicted, or more similar to last Seasons AAC 10th. place team.

Hopefully the Shocks focus on in the paint scoring (our strength) but also hit some 3s with AJ joining in with some
      makes.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

Eh .. I get selling 5 dollar tickets .. but you can't open up parking. Those are paid for spots. I'd be livid if I donated the amount required to get one of the good spots only to show up on a day you need it most and someone with a 5 dollar ticket was taking that spot up.

You'd need to sell ~1000 tickets at $5 a piece to make up the lost SASO revenue of just ONE person deciding to not renew because WSU decided to give up their spot.

I think for this one game with extremely extenuating circumstances they would understand. Their spot might be gone, but there would still be LOTS of close spots available. Or just open up the big lot just south of the stadium

See my updated post .. risk/reward isn't going to be worth it for them. Takes a minimum 4000 dollar donation to get a numbered spot. Just losing one person due to it would wipe out any financial benefit.

Agreed on the tickets though, sell as many as you want at 5 bucks

This will be one of those games where South Florida won’t be able to make it to Wichita until 2 hours before game time. They’ll miss all their pre-game shoot arounds, then promptly end up shooting 80% from the field.

After the last game, if the Shocker men's basketball team doesn't show some pride and fight it will be an L no matter what the final score. It's just really difficult to get up for shocker games anymore as a fan. It's sad.

I thought I'd check the forum for news and opinions about the game. I realized I don't really care. And in my limited reading here, I'm not inspired to think differently.

The parking spots are not assigned spots (at least not in the area I had with my season ticktets)…people who have donated get to park in designated areas (not specific spots). The lots look so empty so far this season and much of last season. As far as those spots already being paid for…the faculty and students pay for those spots as well but get booted out on game days….with faculty having to run out to their cars even while teaching in order to get their cars to other locations much father away from where they are teaching. Students as well. So, if the faculty and students, who have paid to have spots, have to move their cars, surely, on one of the coldest nights of the year when tickets sales have been disastrous, season ticket holders can share the wealth, too. Nothing like having the Athletic Department showing that they actually care about the fan base (which is dwindling by the hour).
