So you are saying that winning would clear out most all of the reasons for not attending?

There are a number of reasons, and most should be able to rattle them off as they have been mentioned on this board more than a few times. My guess is a good number didn't come back for numerous reasons. It started with that whole page ad in the Eagle of donors that didn't want Marshall fired. My guess is most have not returned in body or dollars. Age of longtime season ticketholders with their offsprings not willing or wanting to continue (we had a generally older fan base). Covid. Once gone, didn't come back. Hiring of Brown. People not excited about the Mills hiring (right or wrong).
