I am a beginning collector and have a small collection of items hanging on my garage wall. My most prized possession is the framed Graham Hatch autographed shorts. For other beginning collectors be aware of how much it costs to have something framed. I took them into Michael's last Christmas when they were having one of their huge custom framing sales and it was still more than $250 to have it done.

I also have a signed basketball and t-shirt by the NIT championship team that I need to add to the wall at some point.
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

I have a lot of WSU stuff. My most prized possession is a 1982 WSU football poster signed by Willie Jeffries. I also have a 1991 college world series pennant that misspells Wichita State and several other items. If anyone wants to start collecting WSU stuff go to estate sales. Most of the items I have gotten pretty cheap and it is easier than e-bay.

I had to sell a couple pieces of my memorabilia.

Remaining pieces I am proud of: Sweet 16 team signed basketball including Coaches. NIT basketball signed including coaches and staff.

My boys have posters signed for each year for the past 7 years.

Piece I wish I Still had: framed front page of 1989 Eagle after CWS Win, signed by several players. But it is in good, safe, Shocker hands.

Congrats to whoever got this. I've seen a few sell on Ebay for upwards of $700.

Wow! I had no clue they are worth that much. I have one sitting in my storage room in its original cardboard box. I was thinking of getting rid of it. But instead I guess I need to open the box and display it!!! :)

Yup, the guy I bought my framed jersey from told me he had to sell it to make room for a complete jersey with helmet from WSU Football. He also said he had an original locker from the locker room at the stadium as well. I don't know if he was telling the truth or not, but if he was, I have no pity for him. He mentioned the helmets can sell for a grand if in good enough shape.
"Ralph Miller was one of the finest coaches in the history of intercollegiate basketball. His teams were always fundamentally sound, team oriented, well conditioned, and ran both their offense and defense with great patience. I know of no coach whose teams competed against his, whether it be at Wichita State, Iowa, or Oregon State, who did not have great respect for him."—John Wooden

One of the favorites in my collection is a program from the 1965 All-College Tournament. Along with that is the autographed Dave Stallworth card.

I don't think it would be a good idea to reveal your home address, unless you have air tight security.

I have a few duplicate WSU yearbooks if anybody wants them. They are 1940, 1941 and 1955 yearbooks. If no one wants them they are going in the trash. I would love to give them to a fellow Shocker fan.

The company I work for sells old Wichita city street signs and my boss pulled out Shocker Dr for me! 9-10 years ago my brother and I made a 4x4 ft. replica of Devlin Court out of parkay wood and turned it into a table. I have it now and hang it on the wall. Pretty proud of them I will put pics up later.

Hi all. Have enjoyed this board for a long time and finally decided to join the merry band of Shocker faithful. Though my collection of memorabilia is small, I found one item online that I am most pleased with and would love to share... Just need to get it digitized first. I came across Arizona State's version of the game film from Nov. 15, 1986 and couldn't pass it up.

I've collected WSU stuff for many years and have over 3000 different items that go back to 1902 (Fairmount College). A couple of my favorite items are a 1948 game played football autograped by the team which include Eddie Kriwiel (quarterback), Jimmy Nutter and Herb Eddington (halfbacks) and many others. I also like a shocker pennant from the 40's with WU holding a sickle with blood on it ---obviously wouldn't meet today's standards of sportsmanship.
