and that guy that said he didn't want the mississippi high school player of the year here if it meant that brown was still going to be here. he got what he wanted too.

thanks for looking after the fans, kevin.

I don't blame KS for firing IB. I'm probably on board with the people who think he made the right decision firing him, but whiffed on the hire. I don't know if I think IB would preferable over Mills. My inclination is probably not. Quite frankly, I don't have a strong enough opinion on which coach I would prefer. IB's staff could recruit (I think it was mostly the dude who's at UCF now), but with talent he couldn't really produce any results. Mills so far hasn't put a cohesive team together, and there aren't any results to be excited about.

That said, I don't think KS should be fired for making the wrong call here. He walked into a university that had no NIL framework and had declining fundraising. From what I understand, he's been pretty decent at getting funds, and I think his approach to NIL has been mostly sufficient. Now, if he doesn't make a decision on Mills when it becomes feasible to do so, I will likely change my tune.

I don’t have faith in any coach or ad right now. Too much of a crap shoot. The only thing that matters is money.

Will be interesting listening to KS on The Drive on Wednesday mornings. There was an episode or two last season when he came across on the defensive. A year later and things look significantly worse.

I'm changing my opinion. A Brown team beats a Mills team 8 times out of 10.

The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

Maybe financially, but IB would've drained the donor funds down til nil and our stature would've been significantly worse with each passing year.

We should've had a much better candidate in place than Mills. What a misfire. But getting Brown in the first place was the biggest mistake. We were a top notch program and we threw the money bag at... Isaac freaking Brown? But we had to keep him because optics would've been bad after recent political movements and he won the "COY" with an unbalanced schedule, with everybody and thing that Marshall had instilled when he was canned, and then gets embarrassed by a Valley school in the play-in game.

Boatturd is the ultimate loser here. Saal cleaning up the pieces but his ship is starting to fill with water.

Mills is a coach. IB was a coach. We need not only a coach but a competitor. One that hates losing more than anything and not mind showing his competitive spirit in everything he says and does. Not just win but absolutely knock the other team’s dick in the dirt. We had that with 3G and Wichita has come to expect that in our coach. IB was not a competitor. Mills sure as hell is not a competitor. Hey looks trance-like the whole damn game.

                      Just my opinion.

brown was a marshall devotee- his teams played good, hustle defense. they showed no acumen on offense.

mills seems to be the flip side of that. having no defense will get a team blown out- no stops. the bad part is that this is supposed to be one of his better defensive teams, statistically? oy vey

I felt like Mills wasn’t the right guy the first time I heard him talk. I knew he wasn’t cut out to be here when we played a game last year and ESPN 2 did a half time segment on Mills and all he could talk about was Baylor giving him a ring after they won the National Championship. He almost never mentioned WSU that whole time. WFT dude you are coaching at WSU and all you can talk about is Baylor and Scott Drew. Then I knew he needed to go when he said he didn’t realize how tough the American was and he needed to recruit better players than he did at ORU, again WTF how did he not know the American had way better talent than the Summit. Wichita will never take to Mills like they did Turg and GGG. No toughness, no attitude, no us against the world personality. Dude get on the bus and go sweep floors for Baylor again!

Because ADKS listened to ********s like you we are now stuck with HCPM (can't pay 4 coaches genius). What retard would possibly think we are better off now vs. waiting one more year. Oh, wait...

You could dismiss the current coaching staff and hire the TBT coach Bush for not much over 100K and direct $$$ towards recruiting. He could probably bring along a couple other grads as assistants / recruiters. I think this could be the spark we badly need. Start with a one year contract with performance incentives centered on attendance and record and reevaluate. Also start by at least offering the Sunrise kids Chronister and Juric who are in our own backyard ( if they have not committed yet ). Chronister is a 4* - find him a local girl friend and some cash. Juric is Croatian and moves well for his size. If they have not committed I don't understand why I am the only one that has noticed them.

                                Yep.

KS was incapable of taking control of the situation. He could have at least given HCIB the decency of getting back to his office the day after a season ending loss before firing him. ADKS royally ****** up. I hope I'm wrong...
