Been traveling today and saw we lost. Heard they were hot on 3s. I taped it and will be home tomorrow to watch it.

Jans IS NOT coming here for any amount. I think the American is not much more than buzzard (power conferences) food. They'll pick off a few more scraps (maybe) and this league will be nothing more than where we started, a mid-major league.

Not popular here (and probably never happen for location reasons), but I'd much rather be in the A-10.

RIP us then. Not sure who’s gonna get the donors back on board. It’s clear we need them in this era, so gotta find whatever pacifier makes them happy that keeps us in the W column.

He basically rode that sweet 16 to millions of dollars.

He's averaged less than 1 quality win a year. Including postseason he's had 7 Q1/Q2 wins in 8 years coaching.

You can hate Penny... Which I do... But he's had 6 of those type of wins.. This year already

And Penny’s a dog **** coach. But he can be that, with the talent he’s able to pull. It at least keeps them in the conversation, which we’re no where near at the moment.

Unfortunately this Shox team thinks the way you get back in a game when you get behind is to go one on one or one on three. See Hill, Bell, and Bev. When we actually pass the ball and run some sort of offense with 3 or 4 players touching the ball we are pretty good. When we go one on one we are really easy to guard. DePaul packed the paint the 2nd half and Mills made no adjustments to our offense. He doesn’t have very good control of his players at times. They do what they want with no apparent repercussions. If he doesn’t get control of his team on offense expect several more results like this game. The refs were indeed lousy, but that isn’t what beat us. They made 10 more 3’s than we did. Our defense wasn’t very good the whole game. Our first half was fools gold because we shot over 60% from the field with six 3’s. Time for Mills to take a long look in the mirror…

Jans is off the table, but there are plenty of good coaches out there who can be hired for $2m (if the budget supports that kind of expense in 2026).

That's all DePaul is............a 3-point shooting team. And our coach knew it.

Prior to this game, I was telling myself that we may end up only losing 3 or 4 league games.

After today’s game and now watching TU/UCF game, I’m thinking we’ll do good to play .500 ball.

Have to do better offensive coaching. Second half was dismal, predictable, no adjustments.

Steve Forbes - Wake Forest (if he happens to get fired and the stars align)
Russ Turner - UC Irvine (unsure he would want to leave but worth a shot)
Chris Gerlufsen - San Francisco
Brian Hodgson - Arkansas State
Preston Spradlin - James Madison
Ross Hodge - North Texas (defensive guru and only makes $700,000, may be swayed by a payday)
