Shocks 6, DePaul 22 over the last 9 minutes of the game can do that kind of thing.

The calls did not cost us the game. The reaction to the calls certainly hurt us. The Florida game, as well as this one, showed us a great deal about who we are as a team.

We will see about that. Ronnie should add a bit of toughness. Zane is a total wild card in my opinion. I am not very optimistic this will change a lot.

With the state of the AAC we won't have very much left on the schedule to build a resume with. K-State, Memphis x 2, maybe North Texas x 2.

Beating KSU is about the only thing that could save Mills for me. Dude couldn’t even get his players to respond at all after his technical. No fight for him just all energy gone. And this coming after I think he had one of his best coached halves in the first.

Yeah, I won’t lie. I get that other coaches respect Mills, but he’s not actually beat any quality opponents besides a crazy played game from Rogers against Memphis. Am I wrong?

At this point, even though there are clearly decent other coaches out there, I think just go back and do what we should’ve done. Back up the Brinks truck and get Jans, and get whatever amount we need to win the NIL game.

He basically rode that sweet 16 to millions of dollars.

He's averaged less than 1 quality win a year. Including postseason he's had 7 Q1/Q2 wins in 8 years coaching.

You can hate Penny... Which I do... But he's had 6 of those type of wins.. This year already

It’s too bad, that first half was really fun to watch this team. Although we’ve got a really good sample size to see who this team is, I still feel like there’s a lot of potential if the coaches can figure halftime adjustments and get this team disciplined enough to not beat themselves, especially in situations like this one where the calls are going to be lopsided.

It was nice to see coach have a bit of a pulse today and get T’d up. Hope to see more of that and hope they can instill some discipline in limiting mistakes where they beat themselves.

I've never seen a team make 3s from so many different players. They adjusted their defense and dared us to shoot from outside. We didn't accept the dare and continued to drive the middle. I do wish referees would call dives instead of just saying they are going to crack down on it. IMHO I believe the coaches lost this game for us. Game plan was only one thing and failure to adjust. Was nice to see HCPM actually show some care and get the big T.

Jans IS NOT coming here for any amount. I think the American is not much more than buzzard (power conferences) food. They'll pick off a few more scraps (maybe) and this league will be nothing more than where we started, a mid-major league.

Not popular here (and probably never happen for location reasons), but I'd much rather be in the A-10.
