Not sure how we match up with DePaul as they are relatively small. Skogman is going to be a matchup nightmare with our 2 bigs. 6’11 and shooting 40% from 3 this year.

Depoop is such a shitty program. Almost as shitty as BJ (Creighton), maybe more? I would sure hate losing to them. But we suck so...

I just looked BJ up and it appears they finally won a few games in the NCAA's. Amazing!

Just goes to show if you wait long enough, good things are bound to happen. From 1974 allllllll the way to 2021 before managing to win a couple games in the post-season.

Oh well... when we shone we shone like no other non-BCS program. Little podunk schools like BJ can only dream of grabbing the spotlight like we grabbed it during the LAST F4 run. We played like men and we won like men. Not a team filled with hot-shooting country boys. BJ and NIU, very similar in that regard. Mid-major-esque.

Providence turned the ball over 16 times, shot 30% from three and 44% from the field and still won. They did outrebound DePaul by 10. Take care of the ball and we'll be fine.

DePaul should NOT beat this team, but they are more than capable of beating this team.

I hate to be unrealistic....and I'm not trying to be close minded, but I've seen a lot of our competition play this season. Am I wildly off base saying that ANYTHING less than 24-6 is a disappointment for this group? And I'm not sure 24-6 isn't a disappointment. Not counting Friends....that's 10-2 (taking 2 of 3 between DePaul, KC, KSU) and then 14-4 in conference. Even if Memphis gets us twice...where are the other 2 losses? None at home (or shouldn't be). At USF? Ok. At North Texas and at Temple, to me, are the only mildly acceptable losses. So that's losing everything that's really even doubtful.

Take care of the ball, play good perimeter defense and have a decent enough outside game to keep them honest and we can win. Basically, if we play a B or better game, I think we can win.
