Their 7-1 is fake. Their highest ranked win is against Kenpom #215 Valpo.

I still don’t feel good after Florida. I’ll be tuning in for this one. Hopefully I’m not left with a sour taste in my mouth. Might do me in.

For what it's worth, their RPI is in the range of USC, Texas, UConn, and Syracuse. It's also on their court. So, yea, nothing to see here. After all, we ran all over ETSU, Northern Iowa, and Monmouth at home.

            WSU RPI - 34
            DePaul RPI - 142

Sorry, not impressed with a 7-1 record from a P5 team with a RPI (your metric of choice) SOS ranked 344. Shockers, OTOH, SOS 107.

Not sure I see this game like the rest of you. I don't think their athleticism will be a problem like it was against Minnesota and Florida, but it appears they can really spread the floor and shoot it. Guess we'll see how they fare against Providence tonight.

They’ve at least smashed their shitty opponents to death, unlike us. Just because they haven’t played anybody, doesn’t mean they aren’t good.

Do you actually think we’re gonna be favorites in this game? I’ll bet you $500 right now that we aren’t.

Our KenPom is 90, theirs is 97.
Our NET is 79, theirs is 70.

If anything, our 8-1 record is more fake than their 7-1 record.

DePaul is favored tonight against Providence. Would love a tough grind it out win for the Demons tonight. We will be 3-4 point dogs on Saturday if they win tonight I’d guess.

I'll disagree. Our wins against Western Kentucky, Minnesota, and UNI are far better than any wins they have.

But what about our wins over Monmouth, Alcorn State and even ETSU? How do those wins look? Does DePaul have a 37 point assbending on their resume?

Did I say their schedule or wins are more impressive than us?

Not sure what your point is. If it’s to say they played a much weaker schedule, well yah, nobody’s arguing that. But if you’re somehow using that point to extrapolate that we should win this game going away and that they are a nobody, well you’re probably barking up the wrong tree. Have you actually watched them play at all? I have.

You said that our record is "more fake" than their record, which would imply that they've played a better schedule, or had more impressive wins than any of ours. The SOS isn't close. I'm not saying we're going to beat them by 30, but we should be the better team.

And no, I don't spend my time watching random P5 teams play their sub-300 SOS. It's weird that you do, and then complain when we play substantially better teams.
