Drake on January 2nd.....

First time poster. Making the drive from Omaha to the Drake game on January 2nd. Was wondering if there is any designated place that Shocker fans will be hanging out? Downtown Des Moines isn't a bad place, although it is much much better and livelier in the summer time. Looking forward to revenge. Hope to meet some Shocker fans there!

The West End Lounge, just east of the Knapp Center, is a good place. Hospitable locals and always a nice Shocker contingent there beforehand.

Thanks for asking by the way. I'm becoming more and more able to consider making trips like this myself and if I get to go to drake this year, this info will help me too.
