It made perfect since for Brown to have stayed another year due to our (WSU) being strapped for funds and hope that we could land someone with more credentials later.

Firing Brown less than 24 hours after his last game with apparently no game plan in place was highly inadvisable. I hope I'm wrong...

(honestly, 18 wins at the least should be expected considering the competition)
