Northern Iowa (2-1) at Wichita State (2-0) Game Discussion: Nov 14 (Thu)

It was interesting that the whole UNI team would run over to talk to Jacobsen when we were getting ready to shoot a free throw. No timeout called. Not just one guy talking to the coach. Just a free timeout for them, and the refs didn’t have an issue with it.

I thought the same thing at first, but a UNI player fouled out, giving them 1 minute to pick a sub.

They had one guy foul out (#35) but they did the huddle at least twice.

Hopefully, we can utilize Q. Ballard more as we mature as a team. His foul trouble must improve. We got needed points from MB. Hill's assist to turnover ratio has been impressive. AJ, Hill, and Washington are our 3 point threats. I like WSU getting to the line more so far and making our fair share. Keep winning Shocks.

AJ is my wife's new favorite player. We did meet some of his family in Bowling Green and They were all super nice and excited for AJ to be at Wichita.

Yes and both times were 1 and 1s. They should have just let us shoot rather than trying to pull UNI back after they ran over to Ben and made us wait.

I'm glad it looked the same on television as it did in person. Just awful lopsided officiating, especially the balding ref!

The spot where he stared down degray, who put the ball down instead of tossing it to a ref after a foul call .. then walked him down while staring at him then getting right in his face to tell Degray something triggered him to just go full bore against us the rest of the way. (I was there in person)

Paid attendance was about 6K so half full is about right. Felt like more butts in seats that 1st game, though.

Ate at Social Tap before. Really cool area. Feels like a game changer if we can get near rolling again.

Walked over because it was nice. Both ST and Fuzzys have pretty good drink specials before.

Attending the games are fun!!

It was a little over half full. It was really empty up top. The crowd noise was good a few times. The student section sucked again. I don't get that.

ESPN + woked perfectly again. In years past, I have had to re-boot my laptop 10-12 times per half, usually just switching to radio. I have not changed a thing on my end, but this is waaaay better.
