A win at DePaul would surely vault us to the mid 50's

WSU is currently #2 in D1 for FT defense.

I also appreciate these updates. One suggestion, however. Now that the NET is out, that would be more applicable than RPI.

This win moved us from 86 to 79 in NET

Interesting .. if you look at the various columns (i screen shot that much to include the titles.) The first 3 sections that WSU is Green in are "resume" metrics. I.E. How does what you have actually compare to what others have actually done. WSU ranks really good in those. They say WSU is much better than their NET. Then the next 3 sections that are all in the ~90s are all "predictive" metrics. They say WSU is worse than their NET.

                  Interesting thing to watch.

So, if I'm reading this right, Rhode Island and Furman were both rated a little lower than us (red) but have over performed more than us (green).

Likewise, VCU was rated higher than WSU, but has greatly underperformed.

Thanks for posting. Hopefully coach will see this since he's a big numbers guy. LOL

I know I was pretty worried about the hit Shocker basketball took after the last 10 minutes of the DePaul game. Question is: Did anyone watching on TV actually watch to the end of the game. We did not. It was not entertaining. It was not Shocker basketball. And in no way does it inspire me to purchase tickets, even if they are discounted. I think someone on SN used to post about getting kicked in the grapes, maybe I'm just confused in my old age. But paying for a ticket at $80 a pop, and having to sit thru that last 10 minutes in Koch against KState like they did against DePaul, and I think I'd rather not feel like I got kicked in the grapes.
