The rest are finishing their collegiate careers as Shockers.

So, we need to be patient as fans as it may take time to rebuild OR we need to be patient as fans as it may take time for new upperclassmen to learn a new system OR we need to be patient as fans as it may be some combination of the first two. Does that cover it?

Same thing goes for those exhausting eligibility. If their goal and motivation was postseason and that's gone off the rails then it's quite plausible some may have checked out. Not many have realistic aspirations of a pro career. I'm just not seeing much urgency. The care factor isn't evident.

There a lot of kitty alums and supporters who are happy to throw tons of money into K-State athletics. Plus they get a lot of coin from Big 12 distributions. So they likely do have deeper pockets, and more of them.
