I agree about day one. But I think we'll see steady improvement during November and hopefully hit that big contributor level in December.

I think Mills said he had a very good game in the “Not so secret scrimmage” and has been the best on the floor at several practices. The learning curve might not be as long as some think.

Is this the first time, ever, that one of these has worked out in our favor? I'm legitimately excited for this season. For the first time since probably 2019. Ready for Monday!

I think Bosnjal can be effective against WKU. I don't know anything about their post player, but I doubt he's an athletic physical player like we might expect against the better AAC teams. I doubt Bosnjak is used to playing the type of physical and athletic game that's played in D1.

He's got solid moves around the basket and he's a threat from 3. Just that is going to make him a matchup problem for a lot of D1 teams. He might not be ready for the type of posts he's going to run up against in the tourneys, but for most of the non-con I think he'll be productive. I expect significant production by the time conference play rolls around.

The biggest advantage for MB is the quality frontline depth he provides. We have a huge 7 foot Center, but to my knowledge no backup until tonight. Now we don’t have to turn to a 6’5 backup 5, and we have another big 4 man as a backup when fouls strike. Boards/Rebounding should be helped.

If they will (or can) get the ball to him, he could probably score 30 against Alcorn.
