I'm hoping for a close game. It'll be fun to see if this team has a clutch gene that I thought the last group was lacking.

I was thinking the exact same thing. This year's team looks more even-keeled than any other HCGM team- hopefully that pays dividends at crunch time.

This game is a great early learning tool. We won't see this level of defense or intensity from the teams in the Valley. Love the way our defense looks. If Malcolm and Cleanthony find the range on their outside jumpers sooner than later, we are gonna have a good year.

Early did not charge in the first half, the defender was clearly still moving when contact was made. I am not thrilled with the way Armstead shoots his free throws, does he just feel lucky or what? Baker seems to be the only one dialed in on a jump shot. And yes, feed Hall on the inside. I am sorry, but Orukpe just doesn't seem to be much good.
