If VCU fans understood the Carl Hall situation I don't think they would be booing every time he touched the ball. He only came to WSU because of the $50,000. Except the $50,000 didn't go to Carl it went to the NCAA for them to grant his 6th year of eligibility. If he would've gone to VCU he'd be in Europe right now because they wouldn't have been able to afford the payoff.

NOPE!!! We are NOT intimidated one iota. Our beloved Shocks are fighting fire with fire. They are missing throws and that is awesome. The fact that we are on the road is not bothering us. Keep up the hard work Shocks. So far, so good. We could really use this win but will have to earn every solitary point and break we get.Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.Comment

This game may come down to which team is mentally tougher. That would normally favor the more experienced team (VCU), but the Shocks seem to have some pretty tough minded individuals on up and down their roster as well.
Who will be able to fight through the fatigue late in the game and be able to make plays?Comment

The first half played out like I feared it would on the offensive side. Our defense has been pretty dang good, preventing VCU from taking advantage of our mistakes. I have a feeling they will start getting some points off of TOs. If we settle down just a little bit and choose our shots more carefully I like our chances to get the W.Comment
