Hey RDR, one day closer to BASEBALL SEASON!!!!

Now that's gotta be some good news, is it not??
Yes, but as all my buds know, I am not a cold weather baseball fan.

I still have my great seats.

I just might give the cold weather day tickets away this year.

1ST CALLER---WITH HIGH PITCHED VOICE----"Coach---who's betta--Michael Jordan or Graham Hatch?"

2nd Caller---"Coach, I know I'm not supposed to do this but "please don't leave us high and dry." "We love you man!!!!!!!"

3rd Caller---"Coach, I am coaching my daughter's church team and we are having quite a banner year. May I offer you some pointers? We are in third place right now."
HCGM replies---Good job caller. How many teams are in this league?
        3rd Caller---Three!!!!!!!------Click!!!

4th Caller "Coach, on offense, have you considered running "the wheel" against those stingy zones until the defense breaks down for the easy buckets? Back in the day at CC Camp, we did this and it worked great!!!"

5th caller---"There is this superstar in town that invented the crossover dribble in the 70's. He really did Coach!! He hangs out at the school yads hustling "wanna-be basketball players" for loot. I hear he has all 4 years of eligibility left. I will hang up now, but I refuse to listen!!!"

6th caller---"Coach do you ever heard of ShockerNet? It is very high tech in opinions and we want to help you."

7th caller----"Coach, We know you will right this ship and we are very very glad you are the Shocker Coach. We hope you stay for a long long time. I will hang up and listen."

FSF, please tell me you made these up. Otherwise, the gene pool is in even worse condition than I've given it credit for.

58% of our student athletes made the Dean's Honor Roll.

            20 Student Athletes have a perfect 4.0

The cumulative GPA for student athletes is over 3.0

It is my understanding that the offices are striving for the top SA GPA in the entire country. I do not know if that is even possible, or what the goal is or would be but I know the topic has been bantered about in meetings.

In the midst of an awful lot of bad news....I am extremely proud of these young men and women as most of them will go pro in something other than their chosen sport.

Yes, all made up for some chuckles or kicks during a tough time. We will be back, reloaded and improved each year from here. No doubt about it!

Gal, RC, and PJ have all played with courage even through sickness and injuries. Gal is settling into the offense at the PG position and has played more consistant the past 5-7 games.
