  • Rays of Sunshine or Plain Old Good News

The purpose of this thread is to discuss positive developments about the Shocker Basketball Program.

Positive only. Negative comments may be posted elsewhere. There are plenty of alternatives.

I will start off with this small ray of sunshine.

Here are the 3 Point stats for the last five games as follows:

    Bradley.....5/11.....45.5%

    Missouri State.....3-15.....20.0%

    Creighton.....7/17.....41.2%

    Illinois State.....7/18.....38.9%

    SIU.................7/18......38.9%

    Overall............29/79.....36.7%

Now, ain't that pretty good news?

Surely, there is more good news.

Graham Hatch just saved a bunch of money on his car insurance by switching to Geico.

Our next four games are all against teams with .500 or worse league records. We could be at 5-5 and 12-9 and looking good towards avoiding a Thursday game.

Me and my family have our health and the sun comes up tomorrow.

It's always a great day to be a Shocker fan... how's that.

Now let's go and beat SIU. Wouldn't that be a great Elixer for our negative sickness?

              GO SHOX

We have THE BEST BY FAR facilities in the league and some of the best in the country.

One big stat for me is when you make more free throws than the other team shoots. WSU almost has that (218 made vs 224 attempted).

                  A few breaks.......it is a fine line.

                    thats a pretty sweet stat.

i wish we would be more consistent from the line though.

And what does THE BEST BY FAR facilities give us? A barely over .500 record last year and a sub .500 record this year. Just kidding. I'm very proud of what WSU has done in the facility department, will be even more proud when our baseball renovation is completed.

Not quite sure how that is a positive...we better hope that changes next season.

One of our top Spring recruiting targets (Beckham) is giving us strong consideration. We could be getting a 6-5 freshman PG.
