I actually thought the Bear fans were handling their current situation reasonably well, especially in comparison to what this forum would be like if we were in the same situation. Of course, there is little to no disagreement among the Bear fan base on how terrible their team has become so in that sense their fan base is currently pretty unified. Saw a lot of that kind of unity on the SIU board over the last couple of years of the Lowery tenure.

Now if the Bear fans get as funny and creative as the fans on the SIU board did during the Lowery years you will have an entertaining board to visit.

ISUr up 68-62 w/5 minutes left. The Birds have maintained a pretty good RPI despite blowing a lot of good opportunities, this win would sneak them into the top 50 heading into MVC play.

Touche, Doc. I forgot that you can brag about getting a tough schedule and getting shredded by it still gives you a pat on the back by the selection committee. It's basically the SWAC philosophy.

It's a complete mismatch, as are most games against legitimate D1 teams for the Panthers. UNI fans keep thinking that Seth Tuttle is Lurch, little Koch is big Koch and Sonnen is Farokemadenjihad.

They are well coached, no doubt, but they aren't a top75 team, probably not a top 100 team. This won't be the last time they get blasted. They aren't going to be in anyone's discussion for an at large, because they aren't good enough, period, and they never were going to be. You can only trick somebody so often, afterwards, your talent, or lack thereof, is going to show through.
