Look at White, Hall and Fred's +/- compared to Prouty

Where do you go for the plus/minus numbers? I know statsheet has them but they don't have the UNI game up yet. With all the talk about possible lineup changes I wanted to see if the stats backed up some common suggestions. For example, looking at the difference between Cotton and Wiggins there is a difference of about 1 point per 40 minutes on offense. With Cotton on the floor the team has scored 839 points in 494 minutes which comes out to 69.8 points per 40 minutes. With Wiggins on the floor the team has scored 474 in 273 minutes which is good for 70.9 points per 40. That doesn't look like enough for a lineup change when Cotton is better on defense. Since the talk of a lineup change started when teams started playing Cotton like 2008 Rondo let's look at the data since the Creighton game (when everyone started doing this).
Cotton - 165 points in 109 minutes = 60.5 points per 40
Wiggins - 100 points in 60 minutes = 66.7 points per 40
I'm guessing the UNI didn't change that much but I wanted to get that data before I joined everyone else in suggesting giving Wiggins a starting spot.

I wrote my own program to parse the box score and play-by-play posted on goshockers.com to determine the times of substitutions and then calculate the plus/minus from that.
Of course, for what you are talking about, you only need the box score, not the play by play.

Ok, thanks for giving shocker fans everywhere that information. In this case the box score won't help. It tells how many points and minutes each player played but not how many points the team scored while the player was on the floor.
