Paul Suellentrop reported the following in the Eagle on this past Wednesday:

Ready for real — WSU forward Chadrack Lufile is back at practice after sitting out Monday’s exhibition game with a hyperextended left knee. He is hopeful a string of injuries that included a dislocated shoulder are behind him.
The Shockers open the regular season on Saturday against North Carolina Central and Lufile wants to be ready. He also sat out Shocker Madness and WSU’s closed scrimmage with South Dakota State, along with numerous practices.

“It’s frustrating, but I’m just happy this is the beginning of the season and not the middle of the season,” he said. “Exhibition games don’t really count, so I want to get myself healthy for the games that really count so I can come back 100 percent and help our team.”

So no, I don't think it is 100% he won't play. Hard to say if he will or if he won't. A lot may depend on how much he has been able to absorb from the sidelines regarding his responsibilities on offense and defense as much as how he feels physically. If we get a big lead, I think we will see him at least a little.

The next thread should be Marshall decisively uses this Teaching Moment and it should be about how Marshall shows the team video from the game, breaks down the errors in dealing with a pressure defense, traps, etc. failures in knowing quickly where the next pass has to go, failures in passing (weak passes or passes to the fans), etc.

I'm sure they do it but only in the privacy of their own homes. To do it in a public forum seems somehow not right.

MA - Looks great and handles the O very well - may need to borrow Carl's goggles when shooting
CE - Getting there, but doesn't really fit into the"flow" yet. The O was running better with CH and EO than with CH and CE
NW - Great JuCo and streetball player. Would destroy Kyles in a game of 3-on 3. Needs a LOT of work ot play in a structured game.
RB - OMG! This is a Fr?? He's got handles, mad passing skills, good bll movement, deceptive drives, and unconscious shooting.
FVV - Needs to improve his footwork on D. Gets fouls a bit fast on D. Played conservatively. Showed glimpses of what we are expecting after he had some time on the court. Was "adequate" running the O. With all the missed prctice time, I think he'll be fine.
DG - Redshirt
CL - Who told him big guys should dribble? Definitely not ready. White is probably ahead of him for minutes at the 5, and White has not been impressive so far. Missed a lot of practice, so he's probably at the point now that he should have been for Shocker Madness. Can run and occupies lots of real estate on the court.
