I guess this might be fitting here.

There's a vegas prop bet out there for Dougie D to average 22.5 and 8.5 a game. Does this seem a little high to anyone else or is it just me? I could see the rebounds but 23 points a game?

I think those numbers are not out of line.

Bleed gold /season ticket holder for over twenty years. Hate Creighton when we are playing them. BUT I find it hard to hate the McDermont twins..a good coach and a great player. Also seem like nice guys. Let's face it, they are good for the MVC. I know, this is heresy.

Also, they don't suck this year.

Dougie averaged 22.9 and 8.2 last season, so the prop bet is not out of reason.

If I was interested in the bet, which I am not, I would consider some factors as follows:
                        1. Strength of schedule
                        2. Number of skilled scorers on current team

If they try to play defense this year, as seems to have been the off-season message, scoring and rebound numbers will go down across the board. But that's a big IF.

Good point and very true. From what I can tell, the freshman Yates is a huge surprise and Dingman/Wragge can fill it up. I do like McDermott. Very active and positions himself well for rebounds. Exterior defense though is horrible.
