If we are comparing your athletes to BCS conferences, well I'd say you are third best in your own state. But I will admit you (your team--not the posters here necessarily) are more athletic than half of the Big Rusty. So you have that going for ya.
What are you basing your comparison on. Have you seen WSU this year ?

Even if WSU is the 3rd best in the state (and that is questionable), all three of the programs in Kansas were ranked last year and went to the NCAA's.

Lucky for us, msu is one of those teams that helps widen the gap.

I can't believe a SWOMO fan is coming here and tryting to talk trash. TRYING is the key word here. MSU is picked so far down in the Valley that I can't remember if they were picked ahead of or behind Bradley.

He does that because the message board for msu is in hibernation

You're the only twit on here making comparisons to KU and KSU. Nobody else even brought them up (see thread title).

Is it a coincidence that you post more on Shockernet than you do at BareNation?
            Deuces Valley.
            ... No really, deuces.

I admit that one's definition of "elite" may exclude Korver from consideration. By my definition, I would not include Korver. Others may feel that the mere fact Korver plays in the NBA, he should be considered elite.
Andrew Goudelock throwing darts from Wu Shock's wheat also comes to mind.

Welcome back, you ignoramus. When you compare MSU to WSU, you probably should compare us to Kentucky-esque, because your team is a bottom feeder. I'm not even saying we are glorious, but compared to the dirty southwest of what you call a state, most teams are in this conference.

(Can you tell I really don't like this guy??)

In response to the original post...Are your rankings based on a per game or a total? If it is total blocks, etc...then conferences with more than 10 teams will probably always have more than us. Those 12 team leagues get an additional 60 games to accumulate data.

Those are from Ken Pomeroy's rankings. They take into account not only the amount of games played, but the pace of the games.

That is very surprising to hear. I would think the MSU fan base would be on fire about their game tonight against Philander Smith College. With all due respect to Mr. Smith I can honestly say I have never heard of this institution of higher learning. Apparently an NAIA school.

Well it is located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Perhaps named for a former governor.
