Now, I can understand why sCUm hit the Top 10 in attendance last year and is sure to be up there again this year!

Yeah, don't remember exactly, but it was only good for that 1 game, Creighton's is good for several. Our Groupon was pay $25 for $50 tickets or $12.50 for $25 tickets I believe....I wish they had been $6!!!!

That Groupon had nothing to do with the WSU athletic department but strictly with the game promoter who was putting on the game. The prices for UAB were a bit out of range for a typical fan or a fan that didn't find them included with the season ticket package. I mean $67 for UAB was quite up there (even though most sold).

That has nothing to do with this promotion, which like marty stated, includes multiple regular season games, put on by the Creighton Athletic Department, and for $6.00... $6??????

They must be desperate up there to inflate those numbers.

I'd say their rented arena is a bit too big if they have to drop prices due to low demand.

It's imperative that they maintain the facade that BJ basketball draws 15,000 fans a game. Remember, before the Quiet Link was built, Creighton averaged only a few thousand fans a game. Suddenly, in 2003, their attendance jumps by 10,000 (UNL) fans. Did the product change? No. Did the coach change? No. It was a perfect storm as the city was woefully underserved culturally. So when the new municipal center opened, people flocked (and still flock) to see whatever is inside dat der magical box of entertainmunt. It doesn't matter if it's a monster truck show, women's volleyball, rodeo, or wrastlin', they fill that place up whenever someone turns the lights on.
