Let's hope the newlywed (coach Zach) is getting plenty of Hawk Tuah... surely it improves X's and O's coaching performance.

            AfterShocks can win TBT title
            Story by Taylor Eldridge
            06/26/24
            https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/why-wichita-state-basketball-alumni-team-confident-aftershocks-can-win-tbt-title/ar-BB1oW3y

"The AfterShocks have become a staple of The Basketball Tournament, owning almost all of the attendance records and being the only squad to win a regional championship each of the last three summers. After finishing one bucket away from playing for the $1 million prize two years ago, the Wichita State alumni team is gearing up for another deep run in TBT play next month with a loaded arsenal...."

Two weeks away, wondering if they found a center they were looking for? (Per TE comment on X). Anyone heard?

There is a 6'10" player listed on the roster. But shows as a Power Forward. So not sure if he will play center at all.
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

Narcis is 6'10 and plays in Japan, as Willis does. Not sure if it's the same league, but would guess it is.

Quincy Acy needs to suit up.

We have exactly 2 players that played their career at WSU (McDuffie and Kelly). Don't we have more enthusiasm/talent from our past players? What other WSU players would you all want to see out there that could help this team?

I assume you mean who played their entire college careers here?

                                VanVleet? Busy
                                Shamet? Busy
                                Porter? Busy
                                Baker? Done
                                Etienne? Maybe
                                Echenique? Yes!

Who's left who isn't getting long in the tooth?

                                Tekele Cotton
Zac Brown, but he's been here, done that, wasn't a major contributor

It may be a long while before we have another good pro alumnus who didn't wear another college uniform.
