Flying charter Sun Country 737-800 to Midway today leaves me to believe money is not a problem yet. The tab for that is probably at least $45-50,000 plus all the other lodging and incidentals for a typical road trip.
I don't get this, sure when you are flying to somewhere and time and connections play a part. But United flies mainline daily and the university probably can get a group discount. Probably cost maybe $15,000 for a scaled down entourage.

A packed Roundhouse is one of my favorite places on Earth. Let's make it happen. If the department needs a flash sale to make it happen, so be it.
A packed Roundhouse is one of the three best places I've EVER watched an athletic event:
1.Allen Fieldhouse AS A VISITOR vs. Ohio State
2.memorial Studium, Lincoln , Nebraska November 1978, Nu over OU (Thank you, WuDrWu:) M
    3. Any NUMBER of times in Leavitt/Koch but ...Iowa...1981

    Fill it up

Absolutely. I know NIL is king, but I would hope that a packed roundhouse gives us a little sway with recruits. Obviously, it's not been like that in quite some time, but gosh would be nice to get close to that again.

Athletic Department (if anyone is reading), it is time to discount tickets. 50%. BOGO. Whatever you need to do. There are two things that can get more butts in seats:

    1) Winning basketball - the team is doing a pretty darn-good job of fulfilling their end of the bargain.

    2) A full arena - seeing a half-empty Koch Arena doesn't get others excited about going to a game. Fill the seats. At some point you have to make sacrifices in the short-term to gain in the long-term.

I already paid $80 a seat for my tickets. If others getting in for $20 is the sacrifice needed to fill up CKA again, then I say so be it.

I'm kinda surprised there are so few tickets left considering the price points.

Eh, KSU is pretty bandwagon and they aren't great this year. Plus the KSU football team won't have played their bowl game by then so most of their fans have forgotten that they have a basketball team until after that game.

Drat, no midweek game this week. Thank goodness we won last night. Would have made for a looong week had they lost.

Neither WSU or KSU is that ****ing special.

Where's Negan when you need him.

Clearly nobody in the Athletic Department has an inkling of economics. The entire thing is just one just circus show at this point.

$84 - $128 for a couple of teams that are closer to 100 than 50 in the NET? Maybe they want to discourage attendance so no one sees how bad the Shox might look against a team with a pulse.

Did you see the ticket prices for the game? Does the athletic department think this is some kind of Top 25 matchup or something?

It’s nice to get KState in Koch but once again, the athletic department is tone deaf to reality. It ain’t 2015 anymore. I guess they’d rather be greedy and have it half full than sell the place out. $120 a ticket is clinically insane.
