K State is paying a lot more than $2 mill. Hawkins is getting that much. I would doubt the rest of the team totals less than $1 mill.
Ricky Council went to Arkansas for $250,000. You couldn't touch him for that in today's market. He'd be around $500,000 now.
The fact that K State isn't getting much for their investment doesn't indicate that investing isn't worth it. It indicates that the market has ballooned so high that WSU can't begin o compete for players as ineffective as Hawkins has turned out to be.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
