There are a lot of first and second-year coaches in this league that are doing a lot better than Mills, and they are at schools with less tradition and history and lesser facilities and lower attendance than Mills has at WSU.

I watched Charlotte last night. They have made significant improvement from earlier in the year. WSU has gone the other direction.
"They will never see us coming" because we won't be. I don't see us beating Charlotte at their place. If we can beat UTSA here, we might be able to salvage a tie for last place instead of sole occupancy.
We were voted 4th in the preseason based on an evaluation of the talent on the roster. That talent is still there.
Here's something I remember from preseason when Meeks was still on both legs. In his previous 4 years of basketball, one of Meeks strengths was midrange shots. He hadn't taken many 3 point shots. Mills told him that if he could hit from 17', then he could certainly hit from 20' because it's not that much harder to hit a shot from 3' further out. 1) That's just dumb. It is harder to hit a shot from 3' further out then where your strength is. 2) He wanted Meeks to abandon his strength (midrange) and use his weakness (3point shots). That might make my knee hurt too.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

20-21: 19-53 (only played 18 games)
21-22: 32-100
22-23: 35-108
23-24: 6-13 (only played 5 games)
He's taken plenty of 3's and it's been a part of his game from day one and he's about a 35% shooter from deep. Not great, but solid, especially for a big guy.
Looking even more into his numbers, 384 of his 670 career FG attempts have been from three, and 132 of his 294 makes are from three.
