Is IA in the dog house or hurt or in the portal? They haven’t showed our bench so I haven’t seen him on TV.

When does Mills implement an actual offensive scheme? Do we have to wait for year two or is this what we can expect? I don't care how good he may recruit going forward, this is not an offensive plan that I'll personally find enjoyable to watch.
I may need to find some new hobbiesInfinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

I'm all for giving Mills more time. That said, part of me wonders "what could have been" had we kept Brown for another season. If I recall correctly, Brown's contract was structured in such a way that if it was terminated after the third year under the contract (Brown's fourth season here), he was owed a lot less than he is when we terminated the contract after only two years.
This would presumably have freed up more money for a new coach. I say this because there were rumors flying around during our coaching search that a few of our purported candidates (DeVries, for one) thought we weren't offering enough money.
I'm not sure if any other coach can do more with what we've got. Flat out, our players look just bad. Coaching can help some, but these guys were castoffs at the types of programs we were beating pretty handily less than a decade ago. But damn, I'd like to see something that at least resembles coaching out there.
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

Our non con to have 2-4 non D1 games (like the 4 he has last year at ORU) and the rest against>250 KP teams so he can make sure he has 11+ wins by conference

Can someone provide evidence to support any of these?
In game coaching
Cortes being a D1 player (talent, not roster spot)
Coaching in general
Anything in this team that says they’d be competitive in the MVC.
Don’t come with “not his guys” “it’s year one” “the players are still learning”. There is no excuse for Mills not reigning in the selfish 1 on 1. No excuse for there being ZERO offense ran. And from the players standpoint, lack of effort is inexcusable. This is pathetic. WSU was supposed to be getting better by getting rid of the “nice guy” coach. This is even more embarrassing.-Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind-
