I'm surprised by our ranking a bit.
Really disappointed in UAB. I'm not sure what's happened to them but I expected much more out of them this year.
Tulsa is higher than I would have expected to start the season.
ECU is lower
Charlotte is in better shape than I thought they might be with what the lost in the portal.

Its a rough start with the AAC being the 11th best conference as of right, behind both the Ivy and the MVC.

Granted this is still based on extremely wonky data. In no world is Indiana State the 22nd best team in the country.

The AAC needs to VCU as soon as possible. Waiting on schools like ECU and USF to contribute in basketball is a fool's errand.

Dayton currently 42.
SLU currently 259.

Those are always the three I find the most likely option out of the A10 for a non-football addition.

Quads are also affected by the wonky data. Indiana State and UIC will be no where near a Q1 win at the end of the year like they are today.

Pretty sure NET won't mean much until January rolls around. But it will be fun to watch the movement.

I could add in some potential non-football adds as the AAC will be open to one, though not in a rush. Are there any outside of the three A10 schools we would want to follow for curiosities sake?

It's still early enough that one or two games can have a dramatic effect on, especially, strength of schedule. Looking at UIC, they are bolstered by games at Cinci (13), and neutral against GW (86) and UNCG (73). None of those teams will be anywhere near their current NET rankings by the time conference season starts.

Cinci actually has a pretty crappy non-conf schedule, other than Xavier (4-4 with a loss to Oakland) and Dayton (6-2). They'll get help by a B12 schedule, but I don't see them staying in the top 30 after playing Bryant, Merrimaack, Stetson and Evanville (who won't stay anywhere near their current 90).

As SubGod22 said, it will be fun to watch the movement.
