No he doesn't. He has to play rock solid shut down defense on above average or near superstars and not hurt the Lakers on the other end.
It doesn't hurt if he can hit that shot, but that's not why he would make any team.Comment

Doc, that doesn't make sense. You're right about playing shut down defense: that's key, especially if you're trying to make a quality team. But if he can't make a mid-range jumper with some consistency, he IS hurting his team on the other end.
