  • 10 Year Anniversary

I can't believe that it's been 10 years already since the Elite Eight victory over Ohio St punching the ticket to the Final Four. I really don't know if anything sports related will ever match that feeling!

Louisville was overall top seed of the tournament. Gonzaga was fourth 1 seed. Hence, why we were in the last bracket revealed.

I'll throw 5 more games into this mix:

January 11, 2014 @ Missouri State - Rallied from 19 down in the second half and forced OT to keep the undefeated season alive.

March 17, 2016 vs. Arizona - Sean Miller becoming a meme sweating through his shirt.

March 5, 2017 vs. Illinois State - Leaving the MVC as tournament champions.

February 18, 2018 @ #5 Cincinnati - Proving we would compete in the new league.

February 18, 2021 vs. #6 Houston - Bright spot after an incredibly tough year.

Really surprised that Ohio State game isn't on either of your lists. That's #2 on my list, after the KU game in 2015 of course.

The Ohio State game is probably the #1 game for me overall because that was more about us than any other program. That was Jans’ magnum opus based on the way we played Craft. I would probably have the KU game #2 or #3, although it’s the best game I’ve ever attended in person. The Gonzaga game is the one that contends there because of their AP ranking and the way we beat them by scoring more than 2 PPP on the last nine possessions.

Anybody who doesn’t have that game in their top 5 and is a Shocker fan is certifiably insane.

Come on now, we’re on the 10 year anniversary thread of that game. I thought it went without saying. I shouldn’t have gotten off topic I guess.. just throwing out some additional games!
