    2020 – Beat Temple in Wichita 72-69. Jamarius Burton hit a pair of foul shots with 1:48 remaining to give Wichita State the lead in route to a 72-69 win over Temple on Thursday night. Burton followed his key score with a layup with 23 seconds left to help secure the win for the Shockers. Trey Wade had a season-high 21 points to lead the Shockers. Burton had 15 points and six assists for Wichita State (21-7, 9-6 American Athletic Conference). Jaime Echenique added 14 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. The Shockers leveled the season series against the Owls with the win. Temple defeated then-No. 16 Wichita State 65-53 on Jan. 15. Wichita State matches up against SMU on the road on Sunday. Temple takes on South Florida at home on Sunday.

    2016 – (#RV) WSU Beat Illinois State in Wichita 74-58. Fred VanVleet and Anton Grady scored 16 points apiece and Wichita State routed Illinois State 74-58 on Saturday for its fifth-straight win. The Shockers (23-7, 16-2 Missouri Valley) entered having already clinched their third-consecutive conference title, and snapped a two-game skid against Illinois State (18-13, 12-6). It was tied at 20-all midway through the first half before Wichita State pulled away on a 26-8 run to close the period and build a 46-28 halftime lead. The Shockers stretched it to 25 points with 7:31 remaining and cruised from there.

    2010 – Beat Southern Illinois in Wichita 76-55. J.T. Durley scored 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting to lead Wichita State past Southern Illinois 76-55 in the regular-season finale Saturday. Wichita State (23-8, 12-6 Missouri Valley) never trailed in improving to 17-0 at home. Clevin Hannah added 13 points for the Shockers, who will be the second seed in the conference tournament. Wichita State took control two minutes into the second half. The Shockers went on a 22-7 run over 10 minutes, allowing only one Southern Illinois field goal, and led 62-39. Durley scored nine of Wichita State's points during the run. Durley scored seven of Wichita State's final 11 points of the first half to give the Shockers a 38-26 advantage at intermission.
