For the day, the Shockers are:
    17 and 22

    Regular Season (Games of Interest):
2013 – Beat Detroit in Wichita 94-79. Malcolm Armstead had 20 points and six assists as Wichita State recorded its highest point total of the season, beating Detroit 94-79 in a BracketBusters game on Saturday. Cleanthony Early and Carl Hall added 18 points apiece, and Demetric Williams scored 14 for the Shockers (24-5), who shot 55 percent from the field. Wichita State led by 11 at halftime before Detroit cut the deficit to 63-62 with 12:39 remaining. The Shockers then closed the game with a 31-17 run, including eight straight free throws down the stretch.

2011 – Beat Creighton in Wichita 67-65. Aaron Ellis converted a short jumper with 1.5 seconds remaining after Joe Ragland drove baseline to lift Wichita State past Creighton 67-65 on Wednesday night. The victory sets up Wichita State's game Saturday at Missouri State to determine the Missouri Valley champion. The Shockers (24-6, 14-3) were led by J.T. Durley's 16 points and 14 from Joe Ragland. The Bluejays (17-13, 9-8) had four players in double figures, including Antoine Young with 15 and Gregory Echenique with 14. Neither team led by more than two in the final 11 minutes. The Bluejays' Doug McDermott missed the front end of a one-and-one with 33.1 seconds remaining, and Wichita State held the ball for one shot. It came when Ragland drove the baseline and found Ellis by the basket for the winner. McDermott got off a spinning 24-footer at the buzzer that hit the rim and fell off.

2005 – Beat Missouri State in Wichita 72-61. Paul Miller scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Wichita State past Southwest Missouri State 72-61 Wednesday night. Randy Burns hit four 3s and added 18 points for the Shockers (19-6, 12-4 Missouri Valley Conference), who ended a three-game losing streak. Jamar Howard had 12 points and eight rebounds, while Rob Kampman added 11 points. Wichita State played suffocating defense in the first half, holding Southwest Missouri to 17 percent (5-of-28) shooting. The Shockers held the Bears without a field goal for 13 minutes, with Southwest Missouri's first one coming on a goaltending call. Wichita State opened the game on a 20-3 run and led 37-17 at the half. The Bears were forced to foul the rest of the way, and Wichita State made 6-of-8 free throws to close out the game.
