History tells us to expect a WSU loss. Depends on which team shows up and for how long. They wavered a tad during the Temple game but ended strong. Other games they just fell apart the last 5-6 minutes.

Looking at it, this probably belongs over in the 'Who's gonna' be the new coach' thread.

South Florida beating UCF helped our odds a bit

I have mixed emotions. I think we are going to win this game and muddy the water as far as retaining IB. If we end up with a bye and win a tournament game or don't get a bye and win two I think IB retains the job despite poor attendance. Hard to root for losses. Shocks win 83-73

I am sure someone will start a new topic, but I just read on Go Shockers that Fred and others have made large donations to renovate the weight room.

Line is shifting toward WSU. Took them +10.5....so I hope we keep it within single digits.

I love the work Taylor does, but our chance of finishing 5th is slim and none.

UCF is 6-9 but if they beat Temple they probably finish 9-9 because ECU and Tulsa is all they have otherwise. We lose the tiebreaker and would have to go 3-1 (beat Memphis tonight and win at Tulane in addition to USF) to finish ahead of UCF. That seems......unlikely.

So let's say Temple wins the game vs UCF (one of the 2 will win, obviously)...then Temple is at 10 wins AT LEAST and again, we'd have to win 3 of 4 to tie and get the tiebreaker (and that's assuming Temple loses at Tulane).

I think the only way, honestly, to finish 5 and get a bye is to finish 4-0....and that ain't happenin'.

Its very slim. Its basically decided tonight anyways. Tonight is a must win vs an opponent that has had our number for years. (must win in the context of getting a bye)

Memphis is 37 in Kenpom. Our best win was against 113 ranked Temple. We have played some pretty good teams close but lost them all. Beating Memphis will be monumental for this team. Hope we do but I'm not counting on it.

Memphis fans are saying Davis is a go tonight .. If he's anywhere close to 100% we have minimal to no chance IMO

So you’re saying we have a lot of good losses? In that case, we should be solidly in the field.
