Slight change of subject (didn’t want to start a new topic).
Not that I believe the Shocks have a shot at winning the conference tournament, I think - given the way the team has played recently (a little better), the best seed they could realistically get, would be the 6th seed. I think this give them the best chance of moving into Saturday. I don’t see us moving past that, maybe not even that far if we are the 7th seed.
Unless, by some miracle, Houston and Memphis get beat along the way…they’ll obviously be in the Championship game.

On the other hand, it wouldn't surprise me if they lose their first game.

Looking at remaining schedules I'd say Tulane is more likely to finish in second so I'd almost rather fall to the seven. And that's very likely considering how easy UCF's remaining schedule isInfinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

Speaking of Durr, have we heard anything on Ballard in the last month? Is there any hope for him to see the court again this year?Infinity Art Glass - Fantastic local artist and Shocker fan

Totally and respectfully disagree. I'd take TM 7 days a week and twice on Sunday over CP (and I like CP). To this day TM is still one of my all time favorites. One of the most physically rugged guards. To me that is the biggest difference between the two. His on-ball defense is the biggest difference. Defensively there is no comparison. It was very difficult to rattle TM when he had the ball in his hands. A very steady presence. And no, CP is in no way an NBA prospect, although he'll make a nice living playing overseas. Just my 2 cents.
He's a good player and I'm not pointing fingers, but WSU has not won a game that was in the balance the last few minutes other than Temple the other night, for the last 2 years. Like one of our trusted ShockerNetters, who rarely is prone to verbosity, observed last week "WSU has to be the worst ball handling team in D1." Amen.

Well stated. I noticed last night that CP threw at least 2 passes that bounced of Memphis players ankles in the first half alone, and then in the closing minutes dribbled the ball of a Tigers' foot (I guess better than his, this time...) yet GoShockers box score shows no turnovers. Huh? As far as shooting goes, yes, he's a "Chucker."
