    Regular Season (Games of Interest):
    2020 – Won at UCF in Orlando, Fla. 75-58. Erik Stevenson had 27 points as Wichita State defeated Central Florida 75-58 on Thursday night. Dexter Dennis had nine rebounds for Wichita State (18-6, 6-5 American Athletic Conference). Grant Sherfield added six assists. Jaime Echenique had nine rebounds and three blocks. Central Florida totaled 20 first-half points, a season low for the team. The Shockers improve to 2-0 against the Knights this season. Wichita State defeated Central Florida 87-79 on Jan. 25. Wichita State faces Tulane at home on Sunday. Central Florida plays Cincinnati on the road on Wednesday.

    2013 – Beat Drake in Wichita 71-56. Fred VanVleet scored 17 points off the bench, Carl Hall added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Wichita State took sole possession of first place in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 71-56 victory against Drake on Wednesday night. Malcolm Armstead had 12 points and Cleanthony Early 11 for the Shockers (21-5, 10-4), who moved a game in front of Creighton and Indiana State in the MVC standings. Drake fought back from a double-digit halftime deficit to trail 55-47 with 6:01 remaining, but Armstead drilled a 3-pointer, Tekele Cotton hit a jumper and VanVleet converted a three-point play to double the margin. The Bulldogs got no closer than 14 points the rest of the way.

    1989 – Won at Creighton in Omaha, Neb. 66-62

    1988 – Won at Southern Illinois in Carbondale, Ill. 83-81. Joe Griffin hit the jumper in the lane at 0:02 to win the game.

    1971 – Won at Loyola (Chicago) in Chicago, Ill. 85-76

    1969 – Won at Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio 75-73. Dave Skinner tapped a jump ball at the UC free throw line to Ron Mendell for 25-foot jumper to break a 73-all tie with less than a second to go in the game for the win.

    1960 – Beat Memphis in Wichita 79-75
