The '29 season brings back some fond memories. Ross was completing his final year of eligibility and we were hitting on all cylinders... we were basically 'name our score' good. Up to this point Ross had been hotter than a two-dollar pistol, he was 'long and lean' and every pretty woman's dream. He was especially enjoying the accolades and notoriety of FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICA and was the 'big man on campus' and across the heartland. He never mentioned it, but there were rumors floating around that a group of young flappers had invited him to join them for 5-way. All the ladies (young and old) were hot on ole Ross, but he was a 'straight shooter' and more than likely said NO to their 'party' invitation... even Ross had his limitations.

Didn’t Ashbjorn have a good game against Tacko Fall? We started to gel about that time.
