An idea I’ve had kicking around for a while and communicated to some folks was Fire IB T-Shirts. Get some of those going around at games and that would definitely be a way to make some noise. Not something as strong as putting him on blast with a billboard, but something to represent your personal opinion on the matter.

Would be able to sell for a slight loss (I’ll eat the cost) to get them out to as many people as possible. Could do individual sales and printing instead of buying a whole bunch and worrying about hand delivery, etc. It would should up to your door like anything else you order online.

Need to get it going ASAP if there is interest to have them for as many home games as we have left. Let me know if this is viable and a good idea in your guys eyes and I will see about getting something setup by the weekend.

I'd also say that FIRE IB t-shirts in CKA would be a stronger blast than a billboard IMO. Not really something I personally want to be tied to our program. Especially since any change is unlikely until after the season no matter what.

Maybe my meter is off - was thinking about it in the same light as the boo birds that are sure to be out soon if things don’t change.

Thinking deeper about it I can see where it could be construed as worse, though.

If he doesn't get canned after the season, then I'd fully support such shirts for next year.

I do believe that Saal feels pretty much the same as the rest of us and that action will be taken at season's end. Dumping him now would make some fans happy, but would it really accomplish anything?

Let Saal do his job. All of these ideas should be shelved until next season.

Agreed. There's only one choice. Ride out the season and then make an immediate change. I am confident ADKS knows that there is a sea of displeasure on the other side of the dam that will break if there isn't action by April.

I would imagine Saal knows, and might already be working on it. Its just a matter of time. Next couple of months will be painful. Better days are hopefully ahead.

RIght now the best way to do that ... is to do exactly that. Provide the financial support, go to the games and cheer while at the same time making sure you voice your displeasure to ADKS directly and saying you will not continue to do those things past this year if a change isn't made.

Its a balance act of sending the message while still trying to maintain the attractiveness of the WSU job to potential coaching hires. Having people show up with Fire IB shirts to games 1.5 years after IB won COY isn't going to be seen as a positive to future coaches. And I say that, not because I think HCIB should be retained because he shouldn't after this year, but I do want to make sure we don't help drag the program down with him.
