My parents were dating, were listening to the radio, when news of the attack on Pearl Harbor come over the waves. My Dad volunteered, served in the Pacific theatre, and hated the Japanese. They had diplomats in DC negotiating a peace treaty at the time of the attack. Never forget. December 7, 1941.
