If the article tells us anything, I think it tells who we're starting with at least early on and that we're going to rely heavily on those starters.

Ballard is still a project that will see some court time. But we're going to lean more on the other two. I'd like to see Kenny playing at least 20 minutes a game.

I would think that Ricks may have the inside track on the backup role at both the 2 and 3 as it appeared he was more than willing to get in and rebound.

We sure as hell better shoot better than we reportedly did in the scrimmage. 2 of 19 from deep isn't going to cut it.

The Newman game won't tell us much of anything, but it will still be interesting to see how things break down.

I know it was only a scrimmage...duh! But 2-19 from beyond the arc? The more things change the more they stay the same?

Newman game will tell us rotation and what players are ready to play. Stats aside, you gotta look at how each person plays their role and who was most effective when they were in the game.

Grabbed 51% of available offensive rebounds. Nearly 40 points in the paint. 14 bench points from our bench guard/wing rotation. Seemed like we played good defense. We obviously need to shoot better. I would not have been shocked if we lost the scrimmage.

Louisville lost a scrimmage to Lenoir-whatever...do we reall believe that's a solid indicator of how things will play out?

2 for 19 from 3.......that brings to mind the 2 for 25 in the Lou with Fred and Ron. Can this team win any games in the AAC with that type of shooting? Offensive rebounding was certainly impressive but was it because of long rebounds off 17 missed 3 pointers?
