Sounds like IB's got this program going places.

I have a feeling this will be a big year for Kevin Saal.

Kevin Saal does not care - he is out of town on hunting trip!

Probably needs it's own topic but how many post season transfers would you all expect to see? I am going to go with at least five.

Same situation as Damaria Franklin at Memphis. The previous coach shouldn't be able to block a player from transferring.

I was mostly curious if our big guys have skills or are they stiffs? We know about Pohto but we need the other bigs to step up and contribute. I also want to see if our wings can dribble and shoot without tripping over their feet or getting stripped on the drives. Lastly, who looks like the best option as backup PG?

Yup, previous coach should be able to provide backstory but should not have block ability. Completely ridiculous that with all the other rule changes that this is still allowed.

I thought that a lot of people on here wanted to slow down transfers. Colby had his one no sit out transfer from Cal Poly to Siena. The Siena coach is still in place and did not push him out. He probably wanted a guy who averaged 14 points per game and shot 44% from 3 to stay. If the NCAA is consistently applying rules that require there to be a coaching change or that the school that the player is transferring from is ok with a player leaving or if the player can show with statistics that he didn’t get to play, I am ok with not giving a second no sit out transfer. I think that most coaches would be fine with giving the ok to a player wanting to leave that he knows isn’t good enough to get playing time because he can give the scholarship to someone else who might be better.

If the NCAA doesn’t have some rules requiring transfers to sit out, the transfer merry go round will never slow down.
