Hopefully they just approached this like the All Star game where it was more for fun than it was for technique .. we will find out next week. Considering Defense has normally been solid for us even under HCIB and he's been preaching defense all summer. I'm going to lean that they just did the "fun" route.

That was a total waste of time, screaming, screaming and more screaming. Could not even understand what they were screaming. Does the athletics department have any kind of a marketing department. I have attended these events for years and this attempt was by far the worst ever.Last edited by B1ShockFan; October 27, 2022, 10:12 PM.

Evergreen - there has been one successful madness.
it was at the Kansas Coliseum - There were no painful intros, funky three point contests, or ugly dunk contests. The practices were cancelled that day and the scrimmage was treated like a real game.
If the athletic department wants to get fans to buy into a roster featuring only three returning players - they need to show us intense basketball… the “scrimmage” was shorter than the half point shot contest. This was a wasted opportunity to show that these teams can be competitive this season.
Kudos to the trick or treat aspect… my kids enjoyed that aspect as the players, coaches and spirit squad were all good ambassadors.
