              A couple interesting things -

              - the company involved, Aegis Group, is where Tyler Weber works and the address he registered the Armchair Strategies LLC with (https://www.bizapedia.com/ks/armchai...egies-llc.html)

              - yesterday when talking to the Lutz's, Ryan Baty was saying the KU NIL transactions were pretty average and gave the example that it had provided cars to 6-8 KU players. The WSU NIL will probably follow the KU one's examples for the most part, so I'm sure more WSU players will get cars

Cars are a good selling point for a college kid... Would have been for me too

This stuff is just nuts. With that said, I don’t blame the kids for wanting to get paid.

Tyler Weber's partner in the NIL, Tymber Lee, is part owner of the Wichita Sports Forum, which is another company Porter will be working with, so that's where that connection comes from. Kind of a win-win all around - Craig gets some deals and money and Tyler and Tymber get a paid spokesperson for their companies.

Yup - looks like the NIL LLC was registered with the state on April 14th, and Porter and Council entered the portal a week later, so I imagine between them going to the portal and Eldridge's article, that was enough motivation for the NIL to get some deals in place.

I saw where Jeff ******* quote tweeted Porter's tweet - https://twitter.com/GoodmanHoops/sta...02337490563074 - and said 'Craig Porter went into the portal ..: and came out with some NIL deals to return to Wichita State.' I'm not sure if he was just making an observation or there's more to it, but by showing Porter's tweet in his tweet, Aegis Group and Wichita Sports Forum got some free publicity, and it let everyone out there who reads ******* tweets know that WSU has a NIL that can attract players.
