Yeah, because the pros just dig 31% shooters.

Yes, he will also be a better ball handler and finisher when he’s going against better athletes.

Well his head snap and flop game is already at an NBA level...so at least he's got that going for him.

The snap is something that has always bothered me. TE is pretty aggressive with it. It's a very flopish move.

I know we still have something like 18 scholarships to fill, so there's still a chance of landing someone exciting, but I'm not enamored with any so far.

I don't hate any of them like I did with Qua last year, but I feel like they're all kind of eh.

Bell is a local kid who may provide a nice depth piece, but I'm not all that excited about him as a whole. From those I trust in Andover, they're not sure he really projects to the level we need, but could be a bench guy that can give good minutes and plays smart.

Rojas is a big concern with having I believe both knees repaired. I don't see him giving us an explosive presence but he does have decent size and if he's smart, can give us good minutes in the post, though he's a bit on the short side for that if not explosive. Hoping we're not relying on him to start and play 25 per game.

Ballard seems to maybe have the highest upside and if used right could be a valuable asset off of the bench while giving us a legit defensive presence inside. But he's definitely raw and should be used offensively about like Mo was best used and be ready for dump offs or on pick and rolls where he doesn't really have to do much of anything other than dunk it or lay it in. If he's got decent hands and we have some guys that can shoot, Porter and C4 should be able to find him in those spots. But he's still very much a wait and see type.

I do like that we seem to be bigger inside already and Ballard alone makes us more athletic. But it would be nice to still land someone to fill either the 4 or 5 that could provide more offensive firepower. I know some may hope Rojas can do that, but I'm hesitant to believe it based on what we know at this point.

Also still waiting for another PG, and hopefully one with more than one year remaining. Of course, finding another shooter or seven at any position could go a long way as well.

I understand the wanting to be excited, but I'm not there yet. A lot of visitors planned so maybe there's hope, but as of today, I'm not there yet.

ICT S.O.S - Great local cause fighting against human trafficking
Wartick Insurance Agency - Saved me money with more coverage.

Lot's of questions, but at least we have the best Shocker coach since Ralph sewed up for several more years (or I've been told, and I'm counting on it).

                I agree.

They’ve filled the backend of the roster. Now can they add legit starter pieces?

I’m probably more excited than you, but this is all very fair and well reasoned.

Why would I? Do you agree? I’d love it if, true.

Was it a smart comment after our team went 15-13 and finished toward the bottom of our league? Is our coach that good?

Of course he is. He has a better record than Eric Wedge.

I hate that Wedge isn't working out so far .. but can we utilize this opportunity to fire Boatright? Wasn't the wedge hire seen as one of the few "good" things he has done?
