Right now here's what I see as the starters

1 - Porter
2 - Ricks
3 - Council
4 - Abidde
5 - Pohto

Hopefully that changes with the signing of some additional layers, but I'm not confident about the ability of this staff to get quality players out of the portal.

That doesn't look like that bad of a lineup going forward. There's a lot of youth . Porter is the only guy in his last year, which points out the obvious need for a PG to be recruited.

If that was the case, I expect we would have seen him in the portal along with Jackson. But then, we kept Jenkins last year.

Because he's not entering the portal ... He's going pro somewhere

All of his social media posts have been from NYC since the end of the season .. so unless he's doing 100% remote schooling (which is possible), he's not in class and likely wouldn't be eligible to go to another school.

With what we have now I think X starts at a guard and Abidde backs up at 4/5. Bell has some D1 experience. I am wondering if QG decides to come back. We could really use him.

Davis is a long shot... But this guy... You'd hope he could pull off. Went in the portal the day that it was leaked that Butch was coming here.

For me he would be the big catch for Butch and give me a little more confidence in the staff moving forward.
