I'll take that. It's probably better than any class Guidino ever reeled in.

I guess if we are going to miss the tourney anyways.... might as well be because we are banned ...

Looks like UTEP only brought in one player last year, but it was a 4* transfer from Georgetown.

Pierre has sons who are coaches or staff at both Liberty and Elon. Interesting.

Dump Kennedy and bring in Turgeon as a mentor assistant, ala Larry Brown. Turg is too young to retire and loves Kansas.

This is a damn good idea.

I don't think Turg comes anywhere as an assistant at this point.

Terrible idea in my opinion. The last thing we need is another self righteous arrogant coach from the chickenhawk cheating family in Wichita doing us a favor by lowering himself to help us out. "At this level" Fuk him and any horses he is riding. GO SHOCKS

Now thats funny. LMAO. " It just so hard at this level" Time to escape to a football school and steal our recruits.

Dan how can you even mention Larry Brown name?. Every college he has been at is placed on probation for cheating. UCLA, Chickenhawks, SMU, and soon to be Memphis. YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Turgeon quit coaching at Maryland because he couldn't handle what the fans said. If he ever came back to WSU, the administration better block Shockernet on all his work computers and personal devices.

Turg is probably out of commission for a couple years until his youngest son (currently a sophomore) graduates high school. Considering Mark has made seven digits for the last 15 years and seems to be the type who manages money well, he probably doesn’t NEED to coach anymore.

And those thinking that Mark looks down on WSU as if WSU is beneath him, you couldn’t be more wrong in that assessment. If anything, I think he’s done with the high-high-major blueblood/blueblood wannabe level. If anyone thinks WSU fans being upset last year were rough, the fan bases at the highest levels of college basketball are downright f***ing toxic.

Don't care anything about Mark Turegon and his feelings. When he was at WSU he left to Texas A&M because he wanted to be in a so-called power conference. Larry Brown told him it was a good move because he could compete on a national level and win a national championship there. (Not at WSU) Then he cried like a little she dog because he discovered that Texas A&M was a football school. Duhh!!!!!! So he move to Maryland a basket ball school. And his record was not impressive there either. Which is why Maryland fan base was up in arms against him.

And now he is out because he could not handle the criticism. Don't do us any favors by trying to come back WSU. Anybody supporting him coming back to WSU Iis living in a fantasy world.. His time has passed and he is not a good fit.. I find it interesting that the school he considered beneath his talents is the only one that went to a sweet 16. Mark stay away from my school and my city.. Go Shocks.

If I had a choice of having an ex head coach on the sidelines between Kennedy and Turgeon, I’m taking Turg in a second. At least the guy has emotions, not to mention ACC experience.
